General Information
The Chesapeake Men's Senior Baseball League is pleased to host the 10th Annual Columbus Day MSBL Regional Baseball Tournament October 9-11, 2010. The Chesapeake MSBL has some of the best baseball fields for tournament play in the Mid-Atlantic Area.
The tournament format will consist of three age divisions (25+, 35+, and 45+). Each age division will made up of no more than 8 teams each comprising of two 4 team brackets. Every effort will be made to fill each bracket with four teams. However, the Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust the format of the age group divisions and brackets based upon age group team registration. Teams will be registered on a first to pay in full basis. No deposits toward fees will be accepted. Payment must be made in full with one check or money order for the team made payable to "Chesapeake MSBL".
A Pre-Tournament Manager's Meeting will be held at our tournament headquarters at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott at Arundel Mills on Friday, October 10th at 7 pm to review tournament rules, distribute baseballs, and answer any questions team managers or their representatives might have.
Team Registration Fees (Up to 25 Players) are as follows:
- Entry Fee Payment of $650 must be received before October 1, 2010. Team Registration Fees include:
- 3 Guaranteed Games
- 2 Umpires for Each Game
- Baseballs Provided (2/game per team)
- Championship Trophy for Each Division Winner
- Runner-Up Trophy for Each Division Runner-Up

- Northeast High School
- Chesapeake High School
- Old Mill High School
- North County High School
Directions to the Baseball Fields can be downloaded from the Chesapeake MSBL website on the Baseball Fields Page. All Team Rostered players must be members in good standing with the Men's Senior Baseball League. Age eligibility is determined by age as of December 31, 2010. Any team using a player who is not an MSBL member or, who is under the minimum age for the division in which they are participating, will result in forfeiture of all games and tournament fees and will be expelled from the tournament. All players must carry on their person photo identification in the form of a state issued driver’s license, passport, or military identification card in the event of any age inquiry. No more than two age waivers for players within 2 years of the minimum age requirement may be requested from the Tournament Director in writing via e-mail to ChesPres@comcast.net. Players granted age waivers will NOT be permitted to pitch.
